A critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the AI low-code platform Langflow has been exploited by threat actors, with over 360 attempts detected by vulnerability intelligence firm VulnCheck in just a few days. The security defect, tracked as CVE-2026-0768, allows attackers to execute arbitrary code as root without authentication, making it a highly sought-after exploit.

The vulnerability exists within the code validator of Langflow’s custom component editor and was reported through ZDI in July 2025. It was publicly disclosed as a zero-day in January 2026, affecting all Langflow releases up to version 1.4.2. The exploitation attempts detected by VulnCheck have been primarily originating from Russia, with the firm observing queries for environment variables, secret keys, and SSH access.

VulnCheck has reported a significant increase in Langflow vulnerability targeting, with 11 additional vulnerabilities targeted and reported as exploited in the wild since 2026. The company has seen more than 15,000 attacks successfully exploiting Langflow instances vulnerable to three of the known exploited flaws.
